my WHITE friends always ask e why is it ok for a BLACK person to use the N word but not a WHITE person?

I can't explain this does anyone have any ideas what i should say?

My reply is cuz some black people are ignorant of the word and how it originate and the negative meaning behind the word.So it seems ok to call each other the N word but it's not at all cuz I get mad if a white or black person call me the N word cuz I know the history of that word.And to try to make it more less affected doesnt make it any better off like they do in rap music.

It is in the context in which you use the N-word! The fact that white people will mostly use this word wheninsulting black people, is what has made it unacceptable for them to use the N-word. Most black people use N-wordfondly,i.e. whenreferring to a friend,or in a"light-weight" senseof humour. Bigwilk84 your friends should stop pestering you with questions they already know answers to!
