thanks for the pic.
turnout looks a bit disapointing but i'm sure the message was stronger. what up with the multi-cultural nature of the march. not much has changed in 10 years so why should the audience
You ever heard of the Golden Rule. He who has the gold makes the rules!
He who asks is a fool for five minutes. He who never asks remains a fool for ever.

Black responsibility was stressed. Usually when black leaders speak its all about "Woe is us" or "Us as the vicitms" The focus on this one was Blacks and the poor taking responsibility for MAKING those that should do what they are supposed to do.
Is says whites where in invited, and there were whites there, but what was stressed was black, brown, poor, native Americans. Not knowing what to expect I left my wife and son at home, I regret that.I went with a muslim brother that I served with and learned a great deal.

Farakan said "You are not the savage people that Europe wants to depict you as." And then there were riots in Ohio.
Sad.

Thanks for the pics. Its good to know that most people still believe in the movement and all it stands for. clp)clp)clp)
Some will hate you, pretend they love you now
Then behind they try to eliminate you
But who Jah bless, no man curse
Thank God, we\'re past the worse

I was glad to see the brother, Ayele Jean Baptiste up there 10 years later....he was the young man that they allowed to speak in 95.....

The events in Ohio were unfortunate, but they highlighted the lack of leadership on a local level.......if there were leaders in that area...REAL leaders..they would have been out there handling the situation or preventing it from erupting....
