this is just one womans opinion/experience....
nobody can make another happy if one does not want to be or seek happiness...one can inspire another, but true happiness comes from within...
i have very few people who inspire me...and i tell them, hoping that it will bring thema little bit of joy to know that they are inspirational to me &i appreciate them for making a difference inmy life even ifhe/she was not trying to....no good deed or charactergoes unnoticed...
i have been with/around people were just plain unhappy and verbalizes/externalizes it every chance they got...the longer know them, the more i cant be around them...so i just let it fade out...
i know some peoplewho never say they are unhappy, but i can feel/sense it..but they still have some type of faith that they will feel better soon....so i try to remain a friend and hope that we can work through it together...
but someone who just stews in it (unhappiness)....hell no...gotta run from them...

Ican't deal with them, don't know how to and even if i did i wouldn't want to. It's no joke when people say this type of people sack the life out of everyone... gzzzz do they suck life out of people shsh.

Some people don't even have to say it. You can sense the negative energy. Some pretend to be happy focusing on their accomplishments, accolades, and social life, but inside they're miserable and can be just as draining because they feel your energy and are jealous of it, so the seek ways to take it away from you. Sometimes you have to hide your happiness the way some people hide their misery, because they conciously or unconsiously want to drain you of it. Depends on the situation. I always try to somehowadd value to someone I dated or had relations with in hopes that they will be a better person after they have dealt with me(whether they were happy or not). Luckily Istill have a good rapporwith all my ex's(even the negative ones).

Funny, I would date a man llike that. There is something dark and sexy about men like that. As long as he is not the clingy, weepy, whinny, 'life is so unfair','I have never been happy' type. Cannot deal with optimists, who are always happy. I find them extremely annoying.
