Black power actually its true..whats more those children who came in the early days were often put into special classes because it was assumed by their accents that they were stupid..when in fact they were often far brainer than their white peers..

Actually coming back for my second bite at this...I remember my first trip to Canterbury, when i was part of the Student union our delegation from 'Brixton College' so you can imagine what we looked like virtually stopped traffic in the town centre and had people virtually walking into lamp posts.
I also remember my first time in Snowdonia Wales..I walked into this remote fish n chip shop and the crowded shop went into instant silence as i walked through the door, every stared at me as if i had just landed from Mars..believe me it was a weird feeling...
I know my brothers an i hated going to seaside in them days because of all the staring...

I have said the exact thing on another thread about black youth culture and trousers hanging off butt...

Our culture is wearing kinte, dashiki or just smart clothing...Trousers

hanging off butts is distinctively European... simple fact they eat too much fish and chips and drink too much beer which makes their belly grow hence trousers don't fit or simplyride down and hangs off their butt.
