Has any peeps out here seen Madonna's video for her latest single, well the next time you watch it watch carefully, as I thought there were a few racial connotations, firstly the dancers(and their very ******ish dancing style) 'dancin', at the bus stop, then getting into the cab and arguing at the back....look at the cab drivers face, also the manner in which they were walking down the street after being thrown out of the cab, also in a brief shot afterwards, towards the end of the video, a black male walks down an alley side on with hunchback almost gorilla like, am I the only person that saw this or am I just paranoid, the dancers in this video reminded me of the old gollywog type characters back in the day.

Watch 'Domino' With Keira Knightly... That my friend is stereotype central I couldn't believe and they had likes of Macy Gray doing her best to portray the stereotype

Yes I have...and I did wonder.. But I must disagree with the term you used I quote 'ni***ish style dancing' Could you define what that is then tell me what is the 'appropriate' way to dance

the term was used purely as a metaphor, and was the only word I could think of at the time...but it just struck me as being weird that those shots were used in the video for no apparent reason, I think it was blatantly taking the piss out of blacl people.

I've seen the video and yes you are being paranoid.

Everybody in the video was doing the same dance all the way through with breakdancing inbetween. Madona's own comical dance was way unintentionally more embarassing and far more amusing.

It's trivialisations of racism like this which turn people off addressing real problems. Stop it.
