A MOTORIST was blasted in the arm when he slowed to let a gunman cross the road. The 35-year-old driver began pulling up to allow two men to cross in Love Walk, Camberwell, when one produced a firearm. The maniac fired through the car's window, hitting the stunned victim in the arm.
He lost control of the car and ploughed into another parked vehicle.
Paramedics took him to King's College Hospital in Denmark Hill where he underwent surgery and was in a stable condition as we went to press.
Cops probing the unprovoked shooting at 9.15pm on Tuesday are treating it as a road rage attack.
They think the suspects may have fired at the driver, thinking he wasn't going to slow down. The victim knew neither man, both of whom were black and in their early 20s.
