How come we know there are those who are bad and yes very bad but, we have to pray for our leaders to help us out. we need them as much too, obasanjo is very misunderstood, he may have corruption around him but he has done alot for africa. look at all the peace keeping effort, southafrica president is like leaving africa alone. i think we need them.

I find theresponse above to be purely out of character. The first is that you are defending him because he is a Nigerian. Second thing, you are evokingprayers to your leaders as a solution. Third you mention peace keeping with out giving examples.

I'll tell you this, don't be blinded by the fact that since he is Nigerian he has to be defended. If he is being misunderstood, it is because of his failures. After almost ten years ruling Nigeria and having realised that he has done nothing, he is trying to get a third term! Secondly, I'll advise you to be pragmatic when it comes to social ills. Prayers alone will not solve them. Demand deeds and hold them accountable. Don't you see the paradox here? If he is doing good he is god like, he is above question. If he is doing badly, treat him like a baby, he is still learning, just pary he will be alright. C'mon.

About peace keeping, can he first return Charles Taylor to Liberia to be tried and hanged since I have no remorse at all of him? That would be peace keeping. Ruber stamping peace deals negotiated in Europe and elsewhere does not in anyway make him a peacemaker.

That's opening a can of worms. The Liberian govt. has not asked for Charles Taylor. 99% of African leaders have skeletons and him sending Charles Taylor will put them all in a quagmire, especially the ones who he had deals with. George Bush should be tried ahead of Charles Taylor.
