It was occuring to me whilst watching the Nigeria v Zimbabawe game ( by the way, how gangster is John Obi Mikel, and Zimbabwe got some good players) the lack of interest I have in this cup of nations
I have watched and will watch all of Nigerias game, and I did watch Cameroon v Angola( just to see how poor the team that knocked nigeria out were), but passed that, I havent watched or seen highlights of other games
But when watching the European champinship, man would watch the most abstract games with two wasteman countries. Not all of them , but certainly moreso then I would with two corresponding African sides
Why is that?
Is it Super Sunday on sky? Colonial mind, Poor crowds/officiating in African ties( the amount of 'offsides' have been ridicolous) or is it a combo of everything or something I am yet to mention
I didnt put this in the Sports Forum cos I think it isnt neccessarily sports related
Be gentle.... LOL(Like thats gonna happen)

I think you're not used to watch African matches, as you're used to watch european matches. If you would pay more attention to the individual African players, background, teams etc..I think you would get more into it..I don't thinkit's about beingcolonial minded, it's that theviewers located in eu are bombarded with eu matches only.

I think its because of the systemised brainwashing youve had and accepted quite readily that leads you to love white people more than your own. This is quite a worrying sign CMoney as in another five years you'll be suffering from advanced stages of colonial mind where even speech patterns change and you adopt the cockney wide boy accent or worst still sound like a white northerner with a flat cap. Ask Garth Crooks.
Its a straight road to hell my boy/ and to the bleaching cream.
The remedy:
Watch John Barnes football night and slowly re-immerse yourself into African presentation/ gradually watching re-runs of Roger Milla/ George Weah's goal for AC Milan when he ran the length of the pitch/ even the Brazilian 1970s team. This will provide good working examples of having pride and watching your fellow Africans on TV in a football context and maybe/just maybesnap you out of this wasteful coconut life you seem to relish.
Good luck.

Are you talking about when Oruma flicked the ball over the mans head and shot at the goalkeeper. Great skill, but poor finish
