Ok, people tend to come down hard on unmarriedfathers about their children. Let's say the man supports them financially but doesn't see them as much as society deems appropriate, many people including mothers complain about this. That being said...
What about parents who have such demanding jobs that they are hardly home to see the children grow up, yet they live right there in the house, whether they're on business trips or work alot of hours during the week, or a politician or airline pilot. These parentsare also just as absent, and it's also their choice to work in those occupations. People fail to see that lack of family time occurs in "functional" families. Is there an invisible double standard?
I have alot of respect for stay at home mothers and housewives, or fathers who incorporate their children into the family business. It may not be all quality time, but it's a starting point.
