I know that I should never trust "certain" people and my mother has told me never to let my guard down around them.......Which I never do but it still shocks me and the way racism takes place in many forms.......Like today.......I'm driving home after taking my mum shopping ( I'm such a great child ) and I approach a mini round-a-bout and look right theres a van coming up but its still quite a way away so I proceed to drive.....The van speeds up and over takes me forcing me to slam on the brakes....... then when we come up to the traffic lights ( I'm in one lane and he's in the other so we're next to eachother ) He shouts out " You don't think I'm going to let some ni**ger drive infront of me" then he puts up the middle finger and drives off......This happens so fast I couldn't react.......I was so tempted to ram into the back of him but i wouldn't hurt my baby ( car )like that....... So I drove off in the opposite direction....I was tempted to take the number down of his company van but decided against it....

Did I do the right thing?

I like to throw the hurt RIGHt back....but in form of written complaints to the bosses of people who violate....



i was treated very rudely by worker at library a few years back....i noted the time. wrote detailed letter complaining and threatening to alert the press....got apology letter a few days later.....saying that they confronted the violator....



throw the hurt back.....I feel better knowing that the woman was confronted by a boss and made to acknowledge that she shouldn't have treated person like that.not because the boss cares about Black people, but because he was afraid of negative press.

You were right to keep your head on and drive away, I know many that wouldn't have been that level headed.
I once had a Asian man in a van try to run me off the road because I would not stop to let him out (truth is I didn't see him until the last minute and I was too late to stop for him). Any way I lost my temper (unfortunately) and decided to follow him all the way to his place of business and then when he got out of the van he almost fell on the pavement when he realised I had followed him, 'I went up to him and ask him to repeat the names he called me' but suddenly 'cat had his tongue'. NOW I am not advocating anyone should do this on the contrary, but my point is that, that white p***k took advantage of you because you were a black female. If you were a young black man, he wouldn't have been so brave, unless he was with his buddies, you see they only get brave if they are picking on women or if they are in a group.
I see the way they treat women drivers in general these pigs in white vans and trucks.
I saw one DELIBERATELY scrape the side of this 'white' women's brand new BMW X5, just because she was trying to indicate over into the right lane, he refused to let her in.

Don't spend too much time pondering over it, I am a firm beleiver in 'what goes around', he will buck up on the WRONG black person one day.
