@Urbanchaos it's like this, every person you meet wants to talk about the same thing... (the weather and the public transport)... seriously how many times do you think you can have the same conversation with people who smell like an ashtray with out loosing it?
What's more troubling than random people chatting to you on the road is not knowing your neighbours... most Londoners i know don't actually know who lives next door to them. Personally i have said the occasional hello to the people who live next door to me butif i see them somewhere other than in the areai can't swear i'll even recognise them. Shame really.
