Chi,

There is no downtown ATL. That is why I don't get when the experts say how much they are worried about crime coming there.

Coltrane,

My uncle frequents San Fran a lot. He was telling me the same thing about it. When I think of San Francisco, I think of multicultrulism and of course a lot fo gay people being there. I think the problem with some of us that we refuse that racism exist in places like that. I think about a lady I was talking to. We was talking about her hometown of Providence, Rhode Island. She'll tell you that racism is subtle there, but then I meet three people who tell me how White it is and how some of them act as if Black people don'texist there. Honestly, My thoughts of Rhode Island. I thought that it's a rich man state,( For some odd reason I think of the Kennedy's when I think of it) with nice landscapes and civil. I want to visit there one day. The problem with us, as I have mentioned before, our minds are still stuck in the past (far as racism)

I wasjust saying if that's as ghetto as it gets (yes, ghettocontains all races- not just us) then Canada isn't doing as badly as the UK or US.

I think Canadians aren't as bad-minded, to be honest.

@Cece

I went briefly to Lincoln university in Missouri before I transfer to Michigan State and all I must admit that those were the worst part of my academic life ..never liked Jefferson city nor MI even though MSU was pretty much cool but outside school life there wasn’t much and since I wasn’t a big fan of joining fraternities and all,but to be frank didn’t enjoy Detroit either even though it was better than ..Damn I absolutely hated St Louis.

Boston’s also another one throne, even though Bostonians
all think the city is 'the shit' whereas, its in actual fact an overpriced, provincial, insular traffic jam, that closes at 9pm and everybody thinks its cute to be faux Irish or a MIT nerd. Anyone was to San Jose? I kinda think its better than LA especially their Museum of Art (I have some fond memories of that Museum for personal reasons of course)

NY one word, depends on where you are but its also overrated…ohhh..I still think overall NY has some beautiful women than LA and Atalanta in 10 yrs time will be at par with SF in terms of rainbow coaliation even though

Depends on what part of Canada you want to go.

I'd avoid any cities in Alberta heard that its too much of a haven for red necks.If you want to see black folks then Toronto or Montreal is your best bet not too many black folks in Vancouver though mainly whites natives orientals and pakis but Vancouver does have the better climate plus better scenery on the west coast especially in the winter.If you can handle the harsh winters thenToronto or Montreal is your best bet.

Actually Alberta is not that bad from what I had seen. Edmonton has the largest mall in the World and Calgary is beautiful and the night life is not that bad. In terms of jobs, Alberta is going to be the cash cow for Canada because that is where the Canadian oil is. Been through there for work/training and it seems perfectly ok to me except the cold is just extreme. But most definetely Montreal, Toronoto and Vancouver are the places to be in Canada. I would avoid Winnepeg/Manitoba and Saskatchwan like the plague, that to me is where the red-necks are. But hey what do I know, I live in the good ol USA and we have our share of red-necks.
