Just my thoughts, i find it very disrespectful to see people use these sites as tourist attractions.

Any comments?

I have been to Cape Coast Castle on a number of occasions. It is a World Heritage Site. And is as significant historic place as Dachau or Bruckenwald Concentration Camps.

It is a poignant reminder to all of the Commecialism of Life, using life as a commodity and also the African involvement in the Slave trade. Cape Coast is a great tourist location and is a place that looks like time has stood still for over a hundred years in some areas.

I would urge African of the Diasporia to visit the place and Elmina Castle for an understanding of the process that was involved in the Slave trade and to forge links with ones ancestors.
