this is the very snotty attitude that you have. i have been across the atlantic and i know how MOST of you are. if you read correctly, i did not state that all did have a superior attitude.

i was merely opening the floor for some type of discussion and i get all thit rhetoric?? this is the very reason why WE descendents, from Africa are in the predicament that we are in. you can't even disagree in an educated manner, without poking fun.

i have disagreed on many topics, but refuse to buy into that "lets attack that person coz they are from over there"

this is suppose to be a black forum-not a bash them and make fun forum. i am truly surprised at some of you, who came off so intelligent in other threads and now in this one, you come off as if you don't understand what its like to have riveting conversation.

your country isfacing alot of the issues we are facing here. so why the hatred and the mockery of someone who is just making conversation? you all were slaves, too. you are also treated the same as we are here.

like someone said, america was built from the REAL gangstas from Great Britain. we all want this after math of slavery to stop, but it all begins with us. and the fact that your youth idolizes our "gangsta" attitude, its only the youth recognizing our fight to stop the madness.

i am truly surprised at some of you, who came off so intelligent in other threads and now in this one, you come off as if you don't understand what its like to have riveting conversation.

To be honest the red colouring does play a part in it. A relaxing green or passive blue would have been good.

Us brits don't have a superior attitude at all, because Americans speak the language it makes us sound posh cause we live where it came from... the mannerisms etc all origionate from here so it seems as though we're uppity when really we're just dodgy toothed, BBC watching, big brother following, whos that Hollywood celeb, sad and drearynation, hiding our feelings behind a stiff upper lip that seems to quiver slightly when the pound gives us less worth abroad (yes it happens people) or when we hit a pot hole in our, convienient for these narrow roads, cars.

I actually stick up for the US quite a bit, some moan about you guys and your love of big petrol drinking veichles but they forget that America has such a diverse landscape and weather pattern that big cars are needed... that and I think you wear your hearts on your sleeves whereas us brits are that bit more stiff and held back in approach.

Kungfu – Mz Teacher’s initial point was quite clearly a stupid and provocative one and I fail to see what "fair point" she was trying to make.

I must agree that some of my fellow BLACK "brits" have posted some "naughty" posts but what elements do you regard as being "fair" in Mz T's opening post, as I am at a loss and would be interested to hear your opinion.

I do not, for minute agree that Mz Teacher raised a fair point.... this UK superiority over AAs is news to me... don't see how it is possible as we idealise Black American culture with all that IS great about AAs. I fail so see where this notion stems from... people here on this thread have not answered it because we cannot.... how many times have we said on other threads that we should move away from this which blacks are better foolishness and focus on the real plight of our race..

It's not like we are having a bit of fun here...I thought the thread was raised in seriousness???????
