I don't know if anybody else saw this.
At around 8am this morning BBC breakfast had an interview with some racist historian guest who was blaming black and asian people moving into the suburbs for the rise of crime and the decline of all things nice about suburbia. This ofcourse p*ssed me off straight away and as you all know it is not nice to be so p*ssed off so early in the day--now i'll be mad the whole day.
Anyways, I wrote a letter of complaint <see below> but, as you all know these letters need to come in big numbers for them to be taken seriously. This brings me to my point - whether you saw the show or not, now is an opportunity for you to do something tangible in the struggle against the biased media. Write to these guys and complain about this racist interview.
Send your angry mail to: breakfast.tv@bbc.co.uk
For inspiration you can use My Letter:
I have to say that I am pretty disgusted after watching you interview with a historian and a researcher about the decline of the Suburb this morning.
Your interview guest--the historian-- used the platform afforded to him by yourselves to launch a racist tirade about how the death of suburbs is to be blamed on upwardly mobile "ethnic minorities", who are relentlessly "ghettoising" the formely peaceful, crime-free and presumably white only communities.
At least your presenter Dermot had the grace to cut the rambling old fool off before he really embarrased the BBC live on-air.
I expect an apology on your next programme so that viewers can be reassured that this episode did not go unnoticed.
