Basically Ive built up a list of all the community radio stations, and talk/information shows in London, and now I wish to expand on it by adding stations from outside London i.e. Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool etc

COLOURFUL'S QUEST TO BECOME THE UK'S NUMBER ONE COMMERCIAL TALK RADIO STATION

Karen Morgan, Tessa Sanderson, Henry Bonsu, and Tania Shillam
Colourful radio, the UK's newest talk radio station, is capitalising on the increase in listening figures for focused broadcasters by consolidating its position as the nation's fastest-growing radio station.
Colourful, which broadcasts on Sky Channel 0194 and online at ]http://www.colourfulradio.com');]http://www.colourfulradio.com, has rapidly established itself as the leader in cross cultural broadcasting.
In the run-up to the digital switchover from 2008, a report by Rajar shows that 11% of all radio listening is from digital radio and the percentage of people who own a digital radio has grown from 8.1% a year ago to 13.6%. With internet radio listening rising from 13.2% to 20.8%, this new age has presented opportunities for the focused digital broadcaster.
Colourful radio plans to take its place on national DAB platform as the UK's national top speech station by 2008.
Colourful's line-up includes former BBC and Channel 5 presenter Henry Bonsu, Olympic Champion Tessa Sanderson, former ITV Central News presenter Karen Morgan, and former BBC Radio 4 presenter Tania Shillam.
Listeners currently enjoy a lively mix of music, reviews and interviews, as well as interviews, current affairs, entertainment and phone-ins.
Drivetime presenter Henry Bonsu says: "What we are doing is truly unique. We are one of the few UK national stations that are speech led. However unlike some stations, we are not slaves to the Westminster agenda, instead we produce stories that really matter to people and are not too scared to appear intellectual."
Colourful radio has joined forces with other specialist publishers to create a new force in digital publishing which consists of news, entertainment, arts and events aimed at diverse communities in the UK and across Europe. This provides Colourful with the facility to access a wide variety of audiences throughout the UK, Europe and the US and offers advertisers a range of leading marketing opportunities, including advertising, sponsorship and promotion.
NOTE TO EDITORS
Colourful is the UK's new national digital Talk, cross-cultural radio station. Launched on 30 May 2006, the station's format is a rich mix of news, current affairs and journalism, agenda-setting coverage, short documentaries, drama, panel discussions, phone-ins and a liberal sprinkling of music.
The typical listener is aged between 18-45 and from the ABC1&2 groups.
The station airs on the Sky Digital platform Channel 0194. It can also be heard online at ]http://www.colourfulradio.com');]http://www.colourfulradio.com and across the Colourful Network websites. The station will be available on national DAB by 2008.

As well as community radio stations like Genesis, Galaxy, Bassline, Flames, Millenium Supreme, I have actually started paying attention to the likes ofColourfulradio, as well as Voice of Africa Radio. Colourfulradiois pretty good. It wipes the floor with the other commerrcial radio talkshows we have at present i.e LBC, BBC RADIO etc.
However for a while I have been having trouble with the audio on my computer so I have not been able to checkout Bantu Radio yet. How is it? what kind of shows are on their? what are your favourites?
