I was reading over Garvey's conviction again and it just occurred to me that J Edgar Hoover developed his blue print at taking us down on Marcus Garvey. The first AA man hired into service for the Justice Department (pre FBI) role was to infiltrate Garvey's association and to report and sabotage since Garvey was considered an enemy of the state.

Hoover already had the Panthers, Shabazz, and King handled before they even rose to power just off of what he had learned to do when the US started to consider Garvey as a threat. I mean he did not even change it well maybe included murder later but either way he looked to neutralize the threat.

Just one evil and sick *******, smart I give him that but just evil..........

When I read about J.Edgar Hooover, I sort of look at him peculiarly. I wonder did he have it in for Black people becausae he was also part Black?

I wish that I knew. I just wondered how Hoover went through the Civil Rights movement as effortless as he did finding spies, but seeing as how he had already successfully did this with Garvey. I can't find any research on this as this man alone could have been setting us back for years. Any time one of our leaders was arrested since the 20's , his name comes up and it can't be a coincidence..........

Counterinsurgency and the use of agents to cause chaos is still commonly used against the Pan-African community in the UK.
