I have two. One was a friend from primary school. We almost never see eachother but we speak from time to time
Another is a friend from uni. She's cool but I wouldn't say she's a close friend. Reason being that for me to be a persons close friend, I have to be able to express myself entirely. I can't do that with her.
But in my close circle of friends? It's only brothas and sistas.

I have no White close friends, only acquaintances.
One is a woman I used to work with who has a 14 year old girl who mixes exclusively with Black people. Her Mum is fine about it, but her father isn't, and has been known to make comments about it.
Hubby does not like them in the house......like pets

Yes,I have 3,one who I have known since 1990,the other the only friendship I maintained from University and lastly another I have known since 2000.
These are actual* friends,*not just White folks I know.
And whilst i'm here, I have one Chinesefriend and the rest of myfriends are Afri-Carribean.
friends=people who you can call at 3am and they won't get vexed,people who support you and turn up to your Mothers funeral,people who you can argue with and critique as well as take criticism,people who love you unconditionally inspite of your many flaws,people who just have your back no matter what.

For me, I have two. Both went to my secondary school and I worked with them in a supermarket

Only acquaintances from work as in if you see me with one it's probably work related - buthave to admit I conciously keep this to an absoluteminimum - especially the women. I've kind of got a respectas a vocational peer but most have worked out I need to be around my people |
