don't think a question like this has one answer.....

lot of individual factors would determine how a newcomer is received by the black individuals that he comes in contact with...

most immigrants enter ethnic enclaves of people from same country or region initially......so that helps the transition process....that's where most of the support comes from

this is true of any immigrant group moving to any place
