I've had a quick check and can't see a current thread on this, so here goes:
In light of the current furore over the UK's lack of policy on this, do you think it's right that someone commiting a crime in the UK should automatically be shown the exit?
What about those from countries in war, (i.e. Somalia)? What should be done with them? Do we have an obligation to keep them here?
I know that a lot of the recent spike in crime in Jamaia has been attributed to US deportees who have gained more sophisticated techniques learned in the US, which the JA authorities have had difficulties coping with. Operation Kingfish has helped out there, but do we run the risk of exacerbating the problem for the destination countries by implementing such a deportation policy?
Even if you're not paranoid, that doesn't mean that someone isn't out to get you...
