**** Off Topic ****

Can some of you who have been to Italy give me the scoop? I have always wanted to go to Rome. But if racism is over the top I would rather spend my money somewhere else.

Texas isn't as bad as alot of other places in this lovely country of ours. Spend some time in Idaho or some of the other mountain states. At least in Texas it's not under cover. They let you know right off the bat.I can deal with a redneck, talk s**t back to them and that usually shuts them right up. They don't know how to handle someone who is as vocal as they are.

It's funny, they really don't know how todeal with a brotha that is not scared of them. Even whenthere ismore than one of them.If you stand your ground typically they just go on about their way. They are really scared of those punk a** thugs Because they know them boys don't care about going to jail. If you come to Texas you'll like it because most people here black and white are very friendly.

Germany Much nicer than people say it is. The people were welcoming and warm to us (a group of my friends) and went out of their way to invite us to barbecues and go around with them and stuff.

Yeah..went to Hamburg germany a few years ack..had great time...saw LOTS of Black people there .........had cool time...

Mostly Hanover but we touchedBerlin andBrehme too. If you speak English then German is very easy to pick up because it's so similar. I was there two weeks and almost speaking it lol, but frustrating as you say because everbody insists on speaking English to you. BIG difference from France there lol...

I never saw any skinheads (though I have back here in London) but I did hear about them. The dudes we were with told us they mostly fight students in the university and the Turkish people. See Germany has a massive Turkish immigrant community, and unemployment among them and whites is high. The skinheads are jobless white dudes who fight with the students they percieve as being rich and the Turks they don't want there. Oh yeah and they fight the punks lol. Lots of punks there. Not many africans in Hanover so we never had problems there. Not that we were a novelty, Germany is not that backward lol but not enough of us there to be noticeable. In Berlin it's a bit different. Lots of africans there and it's kinda like Paris...

There is a massive US military base in Germany somewhere, biggest in europe so they're used to yankee folk too

@DtotheJ. I am twenty nine (29) going to thirty (30), Iwish I were a diplomat. Let me see how I went to these places. I went to Nicaragua from the USwith a church group to do volunteer service(building school)forabout two weeks. I went to Jamaica for a wedding. A buddy of mine down there was getting married and I was invited. I went to Trinidad & Tobago with a former girl-friend. I went to Germany and Holland because I have relatives(cousins, uncles, aunts) there and all over Europe especially in the UK which I have not visited yet. Most of relatives live in Canada in the Toronto area so Canada is my stomping ground on holidays.
Quote:
The ethnic group I came from withdrew from North Africa near Egypt and moved South due to all the foreign invasions from Arabs, Turkish, Greeks and Romans in the past 700 years or so. Due to colonialism, the Europeans divided up the area myethnic groupsettled in. As a result some of my people about 20% are in Democratic Republic of Congo and they are Congolese. Another 40% are in Uganda and they are Ugandans and another 40% are found in Sudan and they are Sudanese. But we are still one people even though our lands fall in all three countries. So I have relatives in all three countries and I can easily blend into any of these countries. I can pass for a congolese, a Ugandan or a Sudanese. So I went to all three countries because I have cousins there.
