I have been reading the recent thread about the goings on, and reasons for, and what happened-ings......and I have to be honest in saying there was a great deal I didn't know, didn't understand and like many I took bits and pieces of information and ran with it. Though it may be ticking some of you mods off to have to explain it……I for one am glad that you did.

But that is not the purpose of this thread.

I have been reading what was said by, most notably by Kunjufu and reading the responses from that thread. It has been my own experience that many of you here don’t read. You skim, glance, and ladle over what is written/typed and then have the tamrity to try to respond to something that you never really grasped. There are those of you that can pick out a typo, or a misspelled word, but can’t comprehend a message in two paragraphs; don’t have the sense God gave a pencil eraser to understand the content of what you just read. You respond with two or three lines, lean back on your hind parts as if what you just typed was the secret formula to Coke Cola, when in reality what you typed in response to something you didn’t pause to understand was mind numbing mental defecating drivel.

Thus Kunjufu’s thread……..or a poster though it his/her duty to inform me that one can not get AIDS from vaginal intercourse. (epitome of ignorance)

I digress

Let me drop a lil info on some of yall heads. Kunjufu’s reply was a total of 571 words. It is estimated (according to Wikipedia) that an Educated adult can read 200 250 words per minute. Let’s take the low end (and judging some of you this would be the high end). If Kunjufu’s reply was 571 words it would take an educated adult 2.88 (or aroud) minutes to read his reply.

One poster said “It was too long to read…….not to pick on that person, but he stands as the example of many of you. Who either are too lazy, or lack the educational aptitude; the intellectual competency to read and comprehend what you read. To be honest and to give some of you some morsel of credit….I don’t think its stupidity as to reason why you get half an idea from skimming over something…….I just think most of you are lazy….and young.

And in doing so and being so…..your laziness makes you look like idiots.

Oh….and stop getting upset over FREE SHIT.

(that’s all…I have the flu…can’t sleep)

Carry on.

PaRrIs

(should have taken you 2.1 minutes to read this)

Its clear that in this country we only have a passing familiarity with reading comprehension and need to be taught how to read by those across the pond.

LOL

Nah but for real I understand what Parris said. It happens on many forums. I'll type something to be met with an angry reply... I'll be like "dude... I'm AGREEING with you!"

Well so do I and it's advice everyone should heed including Parris, what I object to is the condescending tone.

when i said kunjufu's post was too long to read, what i really meant was i DID NOT WANT TO read it. you could call it laziness but i wouldnt, it was more because i was rather tired (long day) and looking at all the capital letters he used and the exclamation marks, kind of put me off wanting to digest what he was saying, like when people shout at you and you just switch off and dont even want to listen to what they are saying? i'm sure there are times when we all skip posts and i'm sure there are various reasons for it.doesnt make us bad people.

after taking a cursoryglance at the first 3-4 lines of the very long response i chose to skip, i saw that thisperson wasnt really that interested in explaininganything but was just interested in expressing anger and being abusive and rude. none of which i had any wish to absorb. i'ma very intelligent individual and my reading, spelling and comprehension skills have always been WAY aboveaverage as told to me by many skilled professionals in the field of teaching/education.on this forum i do not use proper punctuation and sometimes dont spell correctly, typing 'u' instead of 'you' for example. this does not mean i do not know how to read or write correctly. throughout my schooling i have always been told that i am gifted even, when it comes to the english language. i'm also an avid reader which always helps educate an individual on correct use of language, increase vocabularyand helps to improve comprehension skills. i will even suggest to you that i am more skilled in these things than both you and kunjufu.

from what i understand, (and i believe i have gained the fullunderstanding and not 'halfan idea') from what was said on the thread the reason bnv apologised is because they were getting flack from the mainstream mediaand feared legal repercussions.they admitted responsibility for the actions of their members and denounced those actions... for an easier life. they apologisedonbehalf of those members whose views did notecho their own.this was the choice made by the ownersandthat isquite clear to me now.i am quite sure that reading the emotional response bykunjufu would not have altered the impression i have becausei read every other response on the 4 pages (including responses by other mods) and as i said it appeared that kunjufu just wanted totype a load of angry twaddle, attacking members who expressed different views to himself, going allround the houses, attempting to blame radio dj's, attempting to blame asian media, and basicallya lot of hurt expressed by this character just because people on this forum wanted to know why an apology was issued and what the apology was for.and also because some people disagreed with the reasons given.

judging by what i have read from this character mod/owner kunjufu on other threads i didnt miss much anyway. this guy comes across very angry most of the time (small dick maybe??), tends to dish out a lot of unneccessary abuse, and can rarely express himself without attempting to insult someone. he also strikes me as someone who isnt too bright either. now in everyday life i tend to avoid that kind of person, so why not on theinternet too?

i realise my reply has been rather long here and i accept that some people wouldnt be bothered to read it. i have no problem whatsoever with that and have no wish to insult or abuse anyone who has made the choice to skip this post.
