"The UN Foundation will not charge any overhead or administrative fees, meaning that every cent from a donation will go where it is needed most: malaria prevention through the provision of insecticide treated nets."

this post falls in line with the Bono thread....



At what point are African elected officials held accountable for the "basic safety" of their people....



Great that a charity is going to this work..but there shouldn't exist a need for this from outsiders.......

Wow..with all the money going to Africa this year, poverty will be eradicated in days...



Now I wonder how the poeple used to cope with malaria before the knew about monsquito nets. <----period at the end of sentence

Malaria and other diseases are no joke...



the infant mortality rate in certain regions where malaria iscommon is quite high.....

How did these people survive so many centuries with Malaria around

"They"or "We" didn't...........survive....

in many sections ,malaria kills off significant % of the population....



any person on blacknet from hard hit areas will attest to that....if they are keeping it real......



Before they developed polio vaccines in america...that disease claimed thousands of lives also....in america....



I am suspicious of (outsiders)people's intentions just like everybody else (who is awake)..but if a problem exists..it exists...
