This woman's father believes she went 'down hill' after she met THAT black man.

You can't get much more blatant than that - black men, the cause of her misery. I still have problem because where's the proof THIS black man gave her the HIV virus?

Isn't amazing how people like her can mix in with the crowd but still want to do you damage. With so much vengance against black men she is simply notsuitable to be neara black child.

I really cannot believe what I'm hearing/reading. First of all, she isn't a fit mother. Last time I checked mental abuse was as damaging if not more than some forms of physical abuse. I believe that what she did was a racist act. The newspaper article stated that she had a bad relationship with a white man and dealt with only black men after that. Correct me if I'm wrong. So like at least 75% of white women out there she chose to sleep with ONLY black men. Catches HIV, a result of promiscuity not hatred (didn't her dad say she was out raving every weekend "dressed to the nines"). I don't wanna make assumptions but we've all seen or know these type of white women. Now the MEDIA, who are notorious for painting black people in the poorest light possible, havestated that she was infected by a black man and thusbegan a sick vendetta againstall black men. Her son, whetherwe like it or not isrecognised as black and will growinto a black man, the object of his mothers sickAND criminalacts. Is this not mental abuse? To know that your mother hated black men this muchthat she'd go to these extreme lengths to hurt them. Social services should see to it that she has no contactwith him while he is still a minor. If he wants to look for her when he is 18 and old enough to make his decisions then so be it.

Can I also just voice my concerns for my black women out there.Black men are known for theirfidelity, so how many of this sick bitches victims were also involved with black women, or hadintercourse with other white women who slept with other balck men, that also sleep with black women. It is one hell of a vicious circle and my head hurts just thinking about it. How many black women are yet again paying for the sins of a black man?

No you shouldn't reget your nephew because he is mixed race. But at the same time neitheryou nor the black race are responsible for the way he has turned out, that is his own mother's fault. Mixed race people do not need to embrace only one identity to have a sense of self. For most of them knowing that they are mixed race and neither white nor black is enough. I know two mixed race girls who are the perfect example of this. Their parents raised them to think of themselves as mixed race, not black or white. Yes they have gotten flack from white people, especially as they moved to racist Alberta when they first cameto Canada, but none of that has had any long lasting effects on their sense of self. They can tell you all there is to know about Nigeria, where their father is from, and inanotherbreath talk about Slovakia, where their mother is from. It's not easy to do but it can be done, it all depends on how the parents decide to raise their mixed children.

And that being said, blackpeople experience racism too, yet when we go through ityou don't seeanyone opening up their racial umbrella to embrace us. So why is it that such a tragedy for black people to not view mixed people as black just because white people will not accept them. If society would let them form their own separate identity there would be no need for all of this confusion.

Now to get back on topic, if that woman is notactually inflictingharm on her child, then there isn't much that the government can do. Yes what she did was inhumane and she should be severily punished for it, butthere are far worst parents out there whoareable to keep their children. Ivolunteer for the Children's Aid Society from time to time and I have seencrack head, alcohol abusing parentsbeingallowedto keep their children.Many of these organizationsworkunder themandate of keeping families togetherand only whenthe situation isdeemed ashopeless will they consider keeping the childuntil adulthood. Most of the time they just get the parent and child some counseling,set upother forms of support they may need then send the child back to the parent.

I really hate howthe white media has been trying to paint her as some kind of a victim. If she's going to go slutting around, having unprotected sex with every guy she meets, then who's fault is it that she contracted AIDS?It's irrelevant whether she got the disease from a black man or a white man. The point still stands that she did not care about her sexual health enough to practice safe sex. People really need to stop blaming others for things that they bring onto themselves.
