A lesbian(out of the closet, manly behavior) I know was telling me about her neice and how her neice was goingto a balland how happy she was for her and how cute she looked in her dress...

Lesbian:Yeah, they're going to a ball and it's my first time seeing her in a dress. I even got to meet her little boyfriend.

DSP: First time ina dress? The way you talked at first I thought she was one of thosedelicate girls.

Lesbian: No she's real tomboyish, really heavy into sports and everything. Before I met her boyfriend, Iwas worriedshe was playing for the other team.

***DSP pause for a second***

DSP: But don't you play for the other team?

Lesbian: Yeah, but I dont' want that for my neice.

DSP: Is it because it's a tough life?

Lesbian: Yeah, I don't want her to go through what I went through.

Nothing really ironic about it,the woman is just being real.

Getting through life is hard enough without theextra perceived "abnormalities".

And if this woman you speak of is Black she probably doesnt wish for her niece the grief which will inevitably come with the double-whammy of being a carpet-munching,African female.
