Food for thought: What is the best piece of advise anyone ever gave you, that has seen you get through some rough patches? I think mine was tomorrow is another day, no matter how bad things look.

If you do and act as everyone else, you can expect to be just like them. If you follow your own road, form your own thoughts, create your own unique reality, you will find what you seek, the life of your dreams. Heaven on Earth!!

My Dad always say's "dont be a liability to no man" My Mother say's "Dont rely on no man"

Have never forgotten that, and I dont.

An ex's brother said "dont let nobody determine your happiness" At the time; and still is, one of the best advice's I was given.

My Dad told me always look out for number 1, nobody else is going to do it for you.

He also told me a wise man learns from others mistakes and that it's good to listen to elderly advice.

The two best pieces of advise I've had or heard are as follows:

Former Regimental Police Sargent

"Always get your report in first".

And the Second from Shakespare's Hamlet:

To Thine Own Self Be True

also my mum always said that the guy always has to like u more than u like him otherwise the relationship will never work. how true this really was

It so wierd that most of the ones like what bFG said about not relying on a man and miss legz said about the guy must like you more is exactly what my mumuse to tell me over and over, she told me if I followed that I would have a strong marriage and keep my dignity.
