I lead many lives, I am a sister, no longer a daughter, a friend, a cousin, an aunte..an artist...among many other things...
I have friends in one of my lives and then I have people I just meet along my journey in another...
Then I have the life I lead while here in the states...and the one that I lead while I am in London...
How many lives do you lead? Do you keep them all seperate? Do you allow them to mingle with one another?
Are you able to remain authentic no matter how many lives you lead?
Perhaps there is a pattern set up in the heavens for one who desires to see it, and having seen it, to find one in himself.

^Now that is the question. I must say; that I do try, however at times I do feel that I am not honouring the authentic self, but this is something that I am working on...it is a continuous journey.

lol interesting question!!
I personally lead four: work self, home self, street self (screw face anyone? lol) and church self, though work and church sef are pretty much the same!!
My only true "authentic" self is my home self.
it takes me a long time to warm up and get used to new situations and its only once i am truly fully comfortable that i feel free to be my "authentic" self, although i have to say i am glad i work with children because i find it soooo much easier to be that when i am with children than when i am with adults. Something about kids is just more accepting. Adults tend to be judgmental and quick to right you off over the littlest thing.
YOU ARE NOT DEFINED BY OTHER PEOPLES\' OPINION OF YOU!! ;0)
