Default Bush... worst President in living memory? - 09-07-07, 05:47 AM

We all know that President Bush is a moron.

But is he the worst US President in living memory? When we look back at the likes of President Lyndon Johnson - who marched the US into disaster in Vietnam - or Nixon, who was exposed as a crook, we may be inclined to look favourably on Bush.

However, George W Bush has led America into what is on course to be the world's first, trillion dollar war.

Cost of Iraq war could surpass $1 trillion - Eye on the Economy - MSNBC.com

That's quite an achievement. Under Bush's leadership, Americans are now despised around the world like never before. All of the good will shown towards Americans after 9/11 has been dashed by the Neo con's aggressive foreign policy.

In 2003, Bush declared "Bring 'em on!" to the insurgents in Iraq. Unfortunately, the the insurgents were only too happy to oblige. The rest, as they say, is history.

As if that wasn't bad enough, the US is currently experiencing a full-scale invasion on it's southern border. Mexico re-conquering the South West without a single shot being fired. And Bush? He has done nothing the stop the tide of cheap-labour immigrants (who, incidently, are taking millions of potential black jobs). In fact, Bush wants Amnesty for 20 million+ illegals!

For the reasons above (and many. many more, includiing Bush's complete idiocy over global warming) I believe Bush to be the worst President of the past half-century.

Agree/disagree?

I agree. I could tolerate a President being a moron (Gerald Ford was one), but Bush is a moron with an agenda..Which of course isnt good for anyone. Hes just been ass backwards on everything in my view. Im just glad hes term limited. I almost dont care who replaces him, 1/1/2009 will be a the end of an error. Itll take decades to undo the damage hes done.

Well I wasn't a fan of "friend of aparthied" Reagan either. George hasn't matched him on destabilizing African and South American governments and peoples yet.

Whether they worked from behind a mask of 'stupidity' or one of 'teflon durability' (aka Bill Clinton) they all did their job in destabilizing Africa and generally **cking up the world in one way and another.

There's not much difference in being screwed up the *ss by a stupid moron and being screwd up the *ss by 'Mr-Nice-Guy-With-the-beaming-smile'. If anything you are more likely to turn your back on Mr Nice-Guy having been fooled by his persona.
