I Moved out here for my studies 6 months ago and realised that i was pretty hated on. dudes (blacks) my ages frown upon me and just talk smack behind my back all the time. I tried but nver got along with em. I even started listenning to grime to relate a lil more but to no success- them dudes just hate and hate-
Yea i got ma accent and i aint changin it for no one- but u got them dudes tryin to imitate and mimic my swag like theirs was any better.
Dont get me wrong i aint backhandin UK Black people, i juss wanna know why they hate on black americans so bad.
shit is dumb- i see em as my brothers but they see me as the Yankee- **** outta here. sad thing is , i did get into coupla fights cause they kept makin fun of me and tend to only hang out with white and asian folks

I'm still saying that the natives are....can often be anti-American. I think Black folks can take on the same attitude. My guess would be regardless of your personality that seeing as you're 'authentically American' these kids feel a little resentful. By which I mean that having a guy that's could naturally affect that type of posturing and 'attitude' probably makes them feel a little false with their British off-shoot of Black American attitude and style......I just read through your stuff again and I'm just saying what you've said.

I forgot to mention that I do get lotta attention from the british girls (man I love these girl's accent, Total turn-on!! lol)- could that be a reason? jalousy Perhaps? Im in the city of birmingham btw- and from what i heard, they also dont like Dudes from London.
