Do you really think man landed on the moon in the 60s??? -

Many of use have heard the rumors that the famous landing on the moon was faked but it wasn't until recently that I really started thinking bout it more in depth. For starters if you look at the pic of the astronaut holding the US flag, you'll see something that shouldn't happen in the vacuum of space. Also the passing through the Van Allen Belts was possibly impossible for humans to survive at the time due to the amount of sheilding needed for protection from the intense radiation. All of this considered leaves me wondering what else have we been lied to as historical events and never gave 2nd thought to.

The future....Evolution....Perfection.

Im the man....the king....the don round here..

All myths in that vid which have been soundly debunked. For example and for starters the flag has a wire frame and was set to look like that on purpose. How else do you imagine they would have deployed it? draped like a raggedy peice of cloth? Nobody has found anything like the moon samples brought back anywhere else on earth despite them being distributed everywhere. As for the van allen belts they never stayed long enough to get a lethal dose or anything like it.
None of the nations unfriendly to America (Russia, China, Cuba, Iran, N Korea etc etc) have ever claimed it was fake despite them having an abundance of scientists themselves.
It's about the time as well BP. Height of the cold war and all that. Russians (and everyone else on earth) has telescopes and cameras following them the whole way. Reds would have been the first to call foul in case of fakery but congratulated instead. Also if you have a good enough scope you can see the stuff (big mirrors) they left there. Same way westerners with radios could track Sputnik and did so enthusiastically, some things are undeniable.
If you're looking for government lies look closer to home. War, Aid, Corruption blah blah blah

In a word! YES they did land on the moon.
However, all that Star Wars 'special effects' shit they claimed to be 'live-footage-as-it-happens' is a load of cow pat. The 'event' happened, but the thing that glued millions to their TV screens at the time was NOT it.
It's the usual stuff where 'THEY' tell us something shrouded in enough controversy to keep us guessing and dabating infinitum so that we never actually look into the deeper more meaningful stuff.....like WHY did they land on the moon? Furthermore, after all the trials and tribulations of trying to land a man on the moon, they finally get to do it and....What?..........That's it?
Not since, have they tried (as far as we know at any rate) to land a man on the moon again....hmmmm

They probably did, but the mere fact that people question if they did illuminates something obvious.
How big a lie would these people tell??
Is there a bigger lie than "we left earth, landed somewhere else and came back safe and sound"??
History is a people's memory, and without a memory, man is demoted to the lower animals

I am with Watcher. This was during the height of the Cold War and Russia would have called us on it. THey were just as technologically advanced as we were at the time.
The problem is our nation stagnated on space exploration. I mean just like music all we are doing is sampling the past instead of going forward. I mean take for instance:
We had skylab and the Mir (aka the flying '62 FORD). Instead of building an orbiting station around the moon, they sat out to rebuild another damned skylab named the International Space Station. Why re do something we just did that fell from the sky twice?
We orbited the earth like 1000 times and what did we learn? We could orbit the earth. Then we got brave and orbited the moon and landed on it. So then we decided to build a shuttle that would orbit the earth and comeback which we did. SO logically the next step would have been to orbit the moon? Wrong. We orbit the earth for 20 years losing two shuttles in the process one while doing construction work in space (let's face it at this point all these guys are now are glorified space construction\trade workers). You would have thought in 20 years we could have devised a moon trip to prep for a mars mission. Nope we happily orbit take some pictures and that is about it.
Then we send a Rover to Mars using a microprocessor for its core that was over 20 years old. WTF?!?!?!? All the processing power we have now and they can't find a better processor to send to Mars? ROFL
I can believe they went to Mars back then because they were too dumb and adventurous to weigh all the risks, but these days I don't think the people have the guts to even risk a venture like that.

The problem with the Mars thing is the duration. It would be a three year or more round trip. The russians have had these encolosed capsulses where people stay in small groups to see if humans can remain in a small bubble like that for so long. Every test has had cabin fever propblems.

Part 4 was killed by the radiation from the Van Allen Belts.
