Many here in the village have supported obama from the start, watched his meteoric rise amongst the young of America, his appeal crossing many racial and demographic boundaries. Only now are the non-black media and social commentators taking him seriously, only now are the republicans even considering him ( assuming he does well in N.H.) a valid threat. Only now are some going so far as to even compare his energy, vitality, and exuberance to;
J.F.K.
And only now are the myriad extremist white groups considering him a potential enemy…

And so I have to ask you with all the right wing character assassination that will inevitability be in the pipe works down the road if he becomes the democratic nominee…how long will it be before some one does attempt to kill him.?

They may have traded white sheets for suits but they are still out there.

I dunno, I've read some negative stuff about him recently from black american sources. That he is funded by military corporations and that block, that he has promised to increase the size and deployment of the military, is pro-africom... stuff like that. If so I don't really see an attempt on him from a white source, he seems to be playing their game despite his talk. A dumb Cleetus type of hick attempt maybe

Folks are saying that everywhere because Black Americans are scred of its own shadow at times.Also alot of the old -line Civil Rights movement Uncle Toms have been paid off by the DNC/Clinton machine t same negative things about the Obama campgain but are not being listened to .This is a turning point in Black American piolitical thought.
