btw I'm beginning to really like youtube. That surely is a site which embodies what the net should be all about.

Still think someone could go one up and have a 'Youtube' devoted to video debates, ''Debatetube'' or something .lol.

Don't like their censoring certain videos without reason. Dodgy.

I prefer to keep discussions about us in house. The debates on youtube are in fact one of the things that wind me up. Too many of the quality videos that are on youtube are soured with the racist comments of dumb white folks and far too many more are soured with dumb blacks who refuse to get it and confuse things for other kids seeking knowledge. It's why I prefer to spend my online time in places like this when debating.

I don't get anything from debating with white folks. I see no benefit in it.

You're right too about the censoring, it bugs me too. I still like the fact that I can go and watch a whole bunch of Malcolm X speeches for example and see for myself what was said and how. It's better than merely reading the text.

Debatetube would be for Afrocentric studies and would perhaps allow white people to join but it would be for serious discussion rather than childish ramblings borne from insecurity complexes... on both sides.

Yeah, alot of stuff like that would be slowly disappearing by now if it wasn't for the net, props to youtube... and amazon thinking about it.

Too many people, mostly the middle class, are afraid to do anything nowadays. Don't want to risk their livelihood for the greater good.
