Following on from the wonderful thread asking about whether we are aware of our mother tongue, I'd like to do a roll call on the cultural background of All AFRICANS who use BNV...(totally voluntary of course).. All I'd like know is your cultural background nothing else ok...

Arochukwu has deep history, in Igbo culture...
also my grandfater is Kalabari, a smaller tribe in River State, Port Harcourt.
Yester-years were full ups and downs,smiles and frowns, cheers and tears...But I'll do it all again.

Displaced African born in America...maternally descendent from enslaved Africans in North Carolina who migrated North to Ohio (my place of birth). I don't have any reliable records earlier than the plantations in North Carolina.
