Default Jim Jones ( Not The Dipstick Rapper) - 28-01-08, 12:47 PM

Did anayone see the documenetray on Jim Jones and the Jonestown Massacre on BBC 2 Sunday night. I don't tink I've ever been so bemused watching TV before. I was there thinking, 'how on earth can this fruitloop inspire so many people'

To those who watched it what did you think

To those AA's old enough to remember him. How was he received by those not in the church. Who was the prominent civil rights activist at the time and did anyone speak out about the undue influeence this man had on so many AAs( I hope you guys dodnt mind the abbreviation)

Any replies will be appreciated

Hi Cashmoney

I watched this too - he preyed on vunerable people who were searching for something in their lives. He took that and twisted it for his own sick needs and motives.

There will always be those people out there who will prey on the weaker members of our community.

I saw some of it. I don't think I saw all of it. Those people were practically enslaved by that madman.
