I've seen a similar scenario where a man and woman were arguing and at the end of the journey they actually made up and exchanged numbers! That was on the bus though lol.

The Americans accent kills patoi. Sounds terrible.
Black Lion is... Agu Bu Oji in Igbo, Simba nyeusi in Swahili, the name of a hospital in Addis Adaba the capital of Ethiopia.

LOL...I can understand Patois when it isn't too British. I think you Brits kill Patois, but then again, I'm not even Caribbean...

Don't know what you mean, but at any rate we speak the patois accent MUCH better than any AA possibly could - it comes natural since we been doing this for several decades. Whenever I hear Taye Diggs terrible un-authentic attempt in How Stella..... it makes me cringe lol. Patois mixed with an American accent is like oil and milk.

What I'm saying is, you Jamaican Brits sound wierd when you talk compared to the Jamaicans here in the States. I can barely understand yall when talking proper English, let alone when you speak Patois. I can at least understand what yall talking about when an American-accustomed Jamaican speaks Patois.

yup. I definitely agree. There is a clear difference, and obviously as Americans who are (most) unaccustomed to both Patois and English accents, Americanized Patois is our best bet.

Brit-Jamaican accents sound closer 2 actual Jamaican accents.
USA-Jam accents-U can hear the american accent pushing through.
Yester-years were full ups and downs, smiles and frowns, cheers and tears...But I'll do it all again.
