Carribean carnival Dublin

Is there a carribean carnival planned yet for this year in Dublin? If not there should be considering the city's large African and Carribean population which has grown a lot over the past 15 years. Anyone up for organising one?

p.s Ive been dublin a few times... good for a laugh and easy sex but Id hardly call the afcab population there large.

Oh there is enough. Dublin is a very large city of 700,000 and over a million live within easy traveling distance of the city.

Remember also that most of the people who go to Londons' Nottinghill carnival are white so there wouldn't be problem of not enough people turning out to watch it. Londons' Nottinghill carnival also started off very small with only a thousand people back in 1965.

stonecastle, tell me more about dublin. I'm seriously considering getting out of London as this place has become an absolute shithole...Black kids stabbing each other everyday... Would you recommend young black families with children to emigrate to Dublin to settle down? How is the level of racism there (re getting jobs etc)? I heard that there many Nigerians in Dublin, is that true?
