Just read this very sad but enlightening piece in the New York times, regardless of my views on the war and American I got to respect those out in Iraq....

Yeah, the dead Iraqis are irrelevant.

I hear the number is passed 600,000.

If even 10% of those had nothing to do with Saddam or Al Qaeda then how do you justify Americans being there? Oh yeah, NO WMDs!

Blood for oil and mostly Iraqi.

I saw an interesting news night episode yesterday about the single informant used to convince the united nations about so called chemical and biological weapons ( remember the white powder demo) saddam never had.

an informant by the name of 'curveball', then an Iraq asylum seeker made up the evidence to gain a quicker route to enter Europe.... the more you learn about the circumstances that lead up to Iraq the more and more I’m disgusted with this 'new labour' government, and with the united states government in general...

p.s. when i last checked the lancet journal ( which used the same formula that accounted for the six million Jews being killed, and for how many Americans are in the united states at this moment ) account for over 1 million Iraq’s being killed as an indirect result of the invasion.

a ridiculous mess. glad my little brother is finally home. i feel like we've really gotten ourselves into a mess with this. we'll be over there forever and for what? surely not what we're told we're over there for.
