If you have a FWB, do you still class yourself as single, and how does having a FWB shape your thinking when it comes to forming a more serious but new relationship..

At what point do you let go of a FWB equation when you start a new relationship; and when asked, are you single, what do you say?

I dont know if this situation is actually possible long term,its bound to get murky along the way.

Although saying that I do have a friend who has been doing this very thing for the best part of 7 years,but she also has confessed to me that she wish this guy would commit to her but she'd rather have him this way than not at all,which is sad.

i guess it works if you don't want a real relationship but i don't see it lasting too long. also, some people have multiple "friends". just nasty with it. i know people who have been married and just don't want ever settle down again so they go this route.

From my personal witnessing and experience with FWB, it never works out. One of the persons involved almost always enters this arrangement wishing things will evolve into a serious relationship of some sort while the other person has no such intentions. Eventually, it causes problems down the road with unnecessary drama.

LOL...if you do have a FWB, don't make it a regular thing more than a few sex sessions (if that many) if you don't want anyone's feelings to get hurt....
