No reason why it couldn't be real, easy enough to do. If someone can jump and slam dunk a basketball from what ever that line is they can jump high enough to clear a small veichle... who was that athlete who jumped the length of a limo?

Why can't it be real? Cars aren't that high and sports cars like that one (a convertable besides) are very low. A reasonably fit person should be able to jump that. A pro baller DEFINATELY can. Timing might be tricky but then as I said, he's a pro baller. Should be easy for him. It's a stunt I've seen done by many others so why not Kobe?

The ONLY reason I can see to doubt the video is his team contract. He'd never be allowed to do it. A multi million dollar asset can't go doing risky stuff like that. It's why footballers with pro contracts can't by motorbikes or ride horses for example. They ain't allowed. I would consider jumping over sports cars in that sort of insurance category.

Saw a news segment earlier this week. The jump is not real though. Digital imagery.
BUT it has already been done a few times by ballers and non ballers alike.

One guy even jumped a pick up truck.

Which is why I didn't believe this vid was real due to the risk factor.
