When Africa is trully liberated, than purely for the historical factor than I would choose Haiti....
Given Africa's is not liberated I would rather stay in blighty than live in the Caribbean. Despte the climate and ethnic makeup.
If we do not have an accurate analysis of the problem, we cannot possibly develop a good strategy to resolve it.

St Beth in JA is my spiritual home (or maybe Negril) yes JA is the place for me and in 10 years my hubby and I (otuch wood) will be there. haven't been to any other Island so couldn't say I'd go although I love Bajans so maybe Barbados would be a good second choice.

I've never been to the Carribean, but just off the top of my head maybe Trinidad or Monserrat (sp?).

You know there's an active volcano there right?
A few of those islands are dormant volcanos, but Monserrat is active and St. Lucia also I think. I've been to Nevis, which looks like it has a dormant volcano or it could have just been a regular mountain, but it did look like it had a crater in it.
