Released from where?

If you type in Slavery on the British National Archives site you will get:

Family & personal papers (1429)
International (1075)
Trade, industry & work (514)
Government (302)
Businesses & organisations (280)
Faith & religion (111)
Tax, money & finance (87)
Law & order (55)
Education & research (49)
Transport & communications (45)
Birth, marriage, death (26)
Farming, fishing & food (16)
Merchant shipping & seamen (12)
Culture & sport (11)
Armed services (8)
Land & environment (5)
Health & welfare (4)
Maps (4)
Exhibitions (1)

[Numbers in brackets refer to documents.]

Within these documents are numerous other documents.

Type in Slave Trade, or Slavery in specific Islands and you get some different results.

If we do not have an accurate analysis of the problem, we cannot possibly develop a good strategy to resolve it.
