Yeah...PH made a post..and I'm biting..so what!!
Out here.....Asians are chinese, koreans,japanese
in the hood...there are hundreds of chinese takeout spots....and if you've ever stepped foot in there...you see some youngster cursing out, mocking or trying to yell at the clerk....
these idiots are actually bothering the people who are PREPARING the food that they will EAT...
it's one of the visible signs of straight ignorance that these people display...
I haven't eaten from one of these places in years...but I've steped inside them to go there with soembody and it's the same deal years later...
first of all.....the food is of the most inferieor quality, it's dirty, the workers generally look down on the peopel they serve......and ON TOP of that you're gonna say and do things that would REALLY make the food preparers not give a F about your food???
does this happen in UK?

No.
They employ Cherubs to serve us food here and the slop is always of high quality... sounds as though you Americans are getting a bad deal.
I wanted to know if the Dagara elders could tell the diffrence between fiction and reality. The elders did not understand what a starship is, they did not understand what the fussy uniforms had to do with anything but they recognized in Spock a Kontomble of the seventh planet... they had never seen a Kontomble that big.

cherubs..indeed...
I asked this question...because I didn't know whether blacks frequent Indian(you say Asian) restaurants in UK...the way we frequent Chinese takeout over here...
I never met any Black person who liked/preferred Indian food...

Don't think they're as popular with us over here thinking about it, Chinese food is a definite but not Indian, the english like their curries and tea, pretty much their national dish, must remind them of their ancestors days in the indus valleys but their food isn't popular with us at all... shame I can't say the same for their hair shops.
Think its cause we've got our own curry goat, spices and stuff (speaking for us Carribean folk) we like spicy food so are less likely to go to them for it. They haven't really made it all a take away type experience over here either. Thank God. I'm not one for spicy food.

I'm NEVER rude to people preparing my food because there's always the chance they'd end up doing what I would do. I prefer establishments where you can actually see them preparing your meal.

I think that one generalisation that exists in regards to UK/US folk is that UK folk are meant to be more mild mannered. They will tend to put up with quite a lot sometimes before making a complaint about something. I don't know if this is true or not because i don't know enough about the US to judge but like i said that is one generalisation that does exist.
Chinese food is more popular in the UK then Indian food. My family do eat Chinese food from time to time. In fact my dad took my niece and nephews to a Chinese restaurant last week during the school half term holidays. I to order in Chinese food from time to time as well when i have people staying round. I to have ordered in Indian food before and the quality of the food was probably better but Chinese food seems to be cheaper and the menu is also more suited to kids. Indian food might also be a bit much for some people to eat for lunch it might be better suited as being an evening meal.
I think if you were actually in a restaurant waiting to get your food that most people wouldn't say anything about the delays unless they had been waiting quite a long time. Even then some people would still be in two minds about saying anything.
If you were in a takeaway and in a real rush then some people might say something but a lot of people don't unless they had been waiting for a long period of time. If they do say something what they say won't normally be very abusive at all as they would just be asking when their food would be ready.
I have seen some US Chinese restaurants and they are a bit different to UK resturants. In the UK the cooking area is situated out at the back usually away from the front desk. If people have a gripe in the UK in a fast food place they will need to tell it to staff that is serving them on the front desk.

Chinese people don't know **** all about human hygiene. Indian restaurants are racist, and they piss in black people's food, no lie. and fast food take way is poison and very bad for your health.
Now the occasional KFC is very good!! lol

Well a friend of mine lacks maners, so much so that i DREAD when she calls to meet up for a meal....my girl argues with people before our food has even arrived! You should NEVER, ever argue with people who are cooking your meals, at least wait until after the bill is paid and you're sure you are never coming back.
I have told the little miss tempestous, but it goes in one ear and comes out the other.....i am so relieved she is not calling me so often now....lol
And what is it with our people and this junk places?? Last time i had a Mcd i threw up and i could never, ever imagine eating it again! And even though I worked in Burger King and know that the cooking system is a little more better than Mcd, yet i can't eat it anymore....i just keep thinking where all those meat come from and that just makes me sick.
I also get the same feeling with Indian food....can't stand the stench....how many curry powder do you need for one serving of prawns??
The only take away restaurants i can stomach now is Caribbean, but the stupid atittude i get means i only go there IF i am bloody desperate! Or Nandos for their pitta bread wrap, simply because i can SEE them cooking it....otherwise, i simply stuff myself with water untill i get home.
