I don't know how many people on BNV are scientists of some sort, scientifically inclined, or just like science, but I was wondering how far would you go in personal experimentation to advance science. Also, it would be great to know in what area would you sacrifice yourself to help scientific developments.

I recently read that a team of scientists have infected themselves with hookworms in order to find a cure for certain allergies and even asthma. You can read the full story here...

Would you sacrifice yourself in the name of science? If so, then to further what cause?

Am scientific minded, personal experiments are fine but I'd rather be my own guenia pig than find myself hooked upto wires being studied like that.

Can see where its nessary, advocate it but wouldn't want to be the subject involved.

I wanted to know if the Dagara elders could tell the diffrence between fiction and reality. The elders did not understand what a starship is, they did not understand what the fussy uniforms had to do with anything but they recognized in Spock a Kontomble of the seventh planet... they had never seen a Kontomble that big.
