* Aloha.
* Everyone pretty much knows my story by now: I am an ageless childless divorced & currently unattached tri-racial male resident of Honolulu, Hawaii, by way of various locations of residence throughout the U.S. Mainland.
* I'm the one ''ditto heads'' despise, as I am not at all afraid to be controversial or travel the most "unpopular" trains of thought. My tirades can sometimes be legendary. -- Okay, so I'm not really THAT bad, but I do like to mix it up occasionally, but always from a point of sincerity and with a desire to educate and perhaps be educated. But when I'm not being ascerbic, I can also show my softer more playful side as well.
* I found this site quite by accident, by way of a "Google" search on a subject I was researching (I have since forgotten what it was about). While here I decided to browse around a bit, found a couple of topics that captured my attention, and the rest, as they say, is history.
* So even if you do find my methods and/or opinions irritating at times, or if we end up agreeing to disagree more often than agreeing to agree, I thank you, all the same, for allowing me the opportunity to participate.

Hi to all, my name is Shari, Day 2 of joining.
Originally from Birmingham, been in London for a few months studying creative and media writing/Journalism and communications.
I enjoy writing poetry, song lyrics stuff like that. Also socialising and chilling, though i am doing a fair bit of hibernating at the moment, tru say winter is on da way! I like to havea laugh, go out on occasion. Listening to music r'n'b, soul, hiphop and ragga. Shopping a huge must, and the arts now and again - well going to the pictures.
Describing my personality in three wordz: CrazyblkangrySexyblkbootyand coolblkafro.
Overall I am a down to earth chick, slightly opinionated but mostly down to earth.!!
More interested in reading the views posted, though if something catches my attention I'm bound to say something or maybe even start one(already have).
Hope i've said enough!!bighairlol

Bismillaah ir Rahmaan ir Rahiim {In The Name of THE GOD {Allaah} The Most Compassionate, The Most Merciful}
As Salaamu 'Alaikum [The Peace {of THE GOD} be upon you] All, I'AM using OriginalBM as an ID. What does it mean? Well, many things to many people I would suppose. It's not so important just now. I would like to invite all to comment on any of my posts. Your thoughts are important. People get along better when they understand one another. Helping each other is what lifeis about. Some say it as 'each one teach one'. Life is a learning experience, and it [life]is limited because we each have a term from THE LORD. When life in the animal [flesh] body is terminated, thesoul returns to The Spirit World for a period, before againtaking up residence on the earth in another body; for another term, from The Most Merciful.It's important to know why you are in this world, if you wish to avoid trouble, sickenss and death. Allaah, The Fashioner, gave you Life so that you may Worship HIM {All Praises are due to Allaah Alone}. HE, would like to instruct you in the correct Way to Live, and to Worship HIM. You must get this Knowledge from HIM, not from the Satan. Satan is your open enemy, Allaah; Glory Be To HIM, instructs us! Study [diligently] HIS, Book Of Wisdom The Holy Qur'aan, which Allaah, HIMSELF, teaches. You should All, have a copy of AL-Qur'aan, at home. I like the Abdullah Yusuf Ali translation of The Holy Qur'an. It can be found online too: http://www.al-islam.org/quran/ Salaam. OriginalBM
PS If you have not done so, read chapter 7, of The Holy Qur'aan.If you've already read it,read it again and keep reading it until you can grasp its significance.Salaam. OriginalBM

Hey,
I enjoy reading the posts, although some are infuriating. It is stimulating to throw ideas around and engage in debates.
I love writing, reading and listening to poetry. I also enjoy writing and reading articles and stories, having discussions and dancing.
blktypeI can feel myself becoming an internet addict, so with finalsrapidly approaching if you see me on line, please tell me to log off. lol

When growing up I was always called Mamma, i always babysat, took care of the family elders and made sure everyone had a drink at the family drink ups.. Its continued as I've got older. it's just stuck. But I like the "nice and warm".. I'll use that as my reason from now on. - Thanks. I need to get a little picture by my name of a nice and warm mum-figure!

I am new tothis forum and I am here in hopes of interacting with Africans in other parts of the Diaspora. I live in america. Hopefully, I won't be asked to leave as a result of that. I've always wondered what it is like for the Africans living in the UK.

Hi am blessing82 and am 22yrs old. I am currently junior, communication major in college. In my spare time I love to read black romance novels, mysteries and contempory literature. I like to have intellectual conversations with open-minded people which is hard to find among my age group.
