The thing is that it seems that "lighter is better" it is much more aggressively marketed and institutionalized in eastern nations, but systematic either way in the west as in the east. There are a lot of people globally with melanin, but perhaps a lot more that they would want to exert control over by getting them to hate what every normal being in nature has an adequate amount of, melanin.
The strangest thing is that the lightest of light pigmented people general view consciously/unconsciously or otherwise is that having more melanin gives off the appearance of good health and is viewed as more sexually attractive as well, not to mention that people with more melanin produce higher counts of attractingpheromones, yet the people that have the most of it want to look like the people who quickly get sunburned and rapid photo aging of their skin. It is backwards, but if all the people with melanin embraced, lovedand appreciated how much of a blessing it is, it would be one less medium of control of the few over the many.

Glad to hear JA is taking action against this stuff...
I wanted to know if the Dagara elders could tell the diffrence between fiction and reality. The elders did not understand what a starship is, they did not understand what the fussy uniforms had to do with anything but they recognized in Spock a Kontomble of the seventh planet... they had never seen a Kontomble that big.

I couldn't even understand what they were saying but I'm still disgusted by the commercial. Yes blacks are not the only ones with the "lighter is better" mentality, most places that Europeans have been have that mind set because they spread white supremecy where ever they go. Although I could never imgaine a commercial like that in the U.S., the message is still very clear and we perpetuate the same sick way of thinking in other ways.
To believe is to have doubt and no facts but to know is to have facts and no doubt.
