Ok I am remiss because until i got married i'd never heard of this tradition before, is it me? Has anyone else heard of this tradition or had this at their wedding?

Unvieling of the cake BTW is the part where the mothers of the Bride & groom lift a veil covering the wedding cake and introduce it to the audience...

Thought the cake was the center peice of the wedding table... Surrounded by presents, gold leafed letters and what not.confused3

and i @K, thought that traditionally thow money at the cake symbolising good fortune etc...infact before i go on....we talkin about a TRADITIONAL jamaican weding right?
