Afrikaness, Melanin & Aging...The double edge sword

Aging is natural occurrence that happens to everyone who is blessed to live
long enough to experience it.

There are natural steps we can all take to help us move through the aging
process gracefully. Meaning, without so many of the ailments that plague
many of us as we stroll down the sometimes bumpy path known as… Life..
____________________________________________________________________________

First, let us come to the conclusion that we need try to maintain the best
possible health that we can. This revelation is a central starting point
which can elevate us towards a healthier diet, more exercise and adequate
rest. (“Yes Brothers and Sisters we must actually lay down sometime)
This, with the blessing of the Creator, can help us preserve our mental &
physical selves allowing us precious quality time as we gradually learn to
elevate further towards the spiritual center we all possess.
____________________________________________________________________________

Those of us of the “darker hue have been blessed with a very special set of
attributes which assist us in the “anti aging process that many have not
as of yet come to fully understand.. One of those attribute is called
“Melanin.

Our bodies contain melanin head to toe, inside and outside. Melanin is the
substance which is responsible for our very existence. It is a healer, an
energy absorber and an organizer of major body functions. It is now
universally accepted that melanin is a total system unto itself.

That's right Afrikan People..........YOU'RE SPECIAL!

__________________________________________________________________

Without a doubt, melanin is viewed as a "giver of life." It is present in
both the sperm and egg and it supervises the growth of developing fetus. The
brain and spinal cord of every person was formed from melanated cells within
the growing embryo.

Every person on earth has varying amounts of melanin in their body. The key
is, some people have more than others. In the body of Afrikans, where ever
we may be found, melanin is present in more sites and in greater
concentration than in any other ethnic group on earth.

__________________________________________________________________

The more melanin there is in the skin, the darker it is and the less it ages
from sunlight exposure. Scientifically speaking, black skin is 100 percent
more efficient in screening out harmful ultraviolet light than white skin.

Melanin also acts as a natural defense mechanism in that it attaches to
foreign substances in the body and helps to remove them.

The problem is that melanin also acts as a double edge sword in that because
of consistent improper diet, drug use, alcohol, and other such toxicity
in our environments, the chemical melanin, which would normally help to
exit harmful synthetics from the body systems, instead begins to accept
these toxic substances as “ok and literally begin to hold them in rather
than the opposite.

This can be and is a deadly situation for the son’s and daughter’s of
Afrika. This reality tremendously elevates the deterioration and aging
process of the body, the youthful functioning of the brain and all related
activity. And it also considerably stagnates that universal energy we refer
to as the Spirit..

In Peace

I'm no rocket scientist but, last time I checked, melanin had nothing whatsoever to do with the amount of harmful chemicals absorbed by the body.

Also, is it scientific to say that melanin "begins to accept these toxic substances as ok?

What the hell is that supposed to mean? That melanin sits back in a chair and says "yeah, I suppose alcohol is ok... and nicotine - I think I'll absorb more of that into the blood... yee hah!"

The thought behind it is thatMelanin has absorbant qualities and absorbs rather adapts to the alchol and drugs accepting it as part of its system.

Man, if I was a scientist I'd be deep into studying this stuff.

Got two of his books as it happens. .lol.

There issome truth in what he says... you'll be surprised to find that the Pienal gland features in Qi-Gong teachings asits in, 'the valley' the central part of the brain. They attach an extremelyhigh meaning to it. Actually surprised me reading about it. Not at home, otherwise I'd quote the book.

You probably already know about the (true) qualities of melanin.
